Voltaic Solar Backpack

Charge your Voltaic bag via Sunlight, indoor light, or any AC or automobile power source
Voltaic Solar Luggage combines stylishly functional Backpacks and Messenger bags with a lightweight power generation and storage system. Each Voltaic bag incorporates a compact and removable internal Li-Ion battery pack which features a low-profile belt clip and a twin, super-bright LED illuminator - plus an assortment of adapters which can power or charge most digital devices (except notebook computers) The compact battery pack can be removed from the bag, clipped to a belt or clothing and used to power and charge devices without toting the entire bag.

Voltaic powers and charges most of your
portable digital devices: cell phone, GPS
receiver, digital camera, PDA, iPod & more

The battery pack is continuosly recharged via a nearly indestructible array of photo-voltaic panels which convert light into free energy. Generating up to 4 watts of power, Voltaic's ultra-efficient solar panel array silently converts Sun and/or indoor light into electrical energy with no moving parts. No light available, or need to charge Voltaic's battery pack in a hurry - each bag includes automobile and world voltage AC charging adapters.
Even greener - now made from recycled beverage bottles

Description

The Voltaic Messenger features a ruggedly reinforced and padded chassis designed to carry and protect a notebook computer and its associated components, as well as a full compliment of other digital devices. The Messenger contains large zippered pockets for documents and multiple small pockets for electronic devices - ideal for both everyday use or as a travel bag.

Each Voltaic bag includes a set of 11 adaptors for interfacing with the most popular cell phones and digital devices. A full range of optional adaptors for nearly any electronic device is available here.

Securely embedded in an exterior panel of each bag are 3 lightweight, tough and waterproof photo-voltaic (solar) panels which are arrayed to generate up to 4 full watts of power. An internal Li-Ion battery pack stores the power generated by the panels, so it's available when you need it - not just when the Sun is shining. The battery pack can also be charged using the included automobile or world voltage AC charge adapters - this makes your Voltaic bag just as useful whether off the grid or on.
