"Older PowerBooks often suffer from screen scratches due to the keyboard touching the screen when the machine is closed. It's not yet clear if my 15-inch PowerBook suffers the same design flaw, but I don't want to find out. To this end, RadTech also makes ScreenSavRz, a soft cloth that sits on your keyboard while the machine is closed, keeping the pressure off the screen. It is a bit of a hassle to keep putting it on and taking it off. However, the alternative could mean a dinged-up screen, which will never get fixed so it's worth the effort."

"If you are trying to protect your mobile computing investment, a look at RadTech's products should be a mandatory stop. The ScreensavRz and PowerSleevz are unique and thoughtfully designed for just this purpose."

"Since the display is the most expensive and most precious component in any notebook computer, before I even stick the PowerBook in the backpack, I first insert RadTech's Notebook ScreensaveRz between its keyboard and display. ScreensaveRz are thin, custom-sized protective cloths that protect the screen from marks that occur when the keys come into contact with the display."

"Probably one of the original solutions to this problems, our final RadTech product to review matches the PowerSleevz case, as it's made out of a same material, only thinner. It's the same high-quality, and custom fitted for your model of Mac notebook. You can get it in different colors (grey, aqua, and 'shagwire'), as well as different embossed logos. Being machine washable, this is the most elegant solution, and the price is very reasonable. It can also be used to polish/clean the screen and other parts of your portable."

"The ScreensavRz is the absolute best LCD screen protection for a PowerBook that we have seen. Made out of a lint free ultramicrofiber it is design in a camel hair like color that is a true show stopper. It can easily be trimmed to fit any power book to perfection. It reside between your keyboard and your screen to ensure that their will be no transfers of lint, oil film or particles from one to another. It does it's job very well, but what really blew our mind is the fact that the ScreensavRz can be used also as a "magic cloth" to revive and clean with precision all of your plastic optics...We where able after damping ScreensavRz with clean water to remove old scuffing from the outer screen, and after a quick but vigorous polishing session we found that our first generation PowerBook G4 look (almost) new. That is impressive!"

"The PowerSleevz cover is a soft, suede-like envelope that slips over your PowerBook. The material is synthetic and slightly stretchy, which means it fits the PowerBook like a glove. When not holding the PowerBook it can double as a screen duster, and it also helps grip the PowerBook so you are less-likely to drop it."

"The Notebook ScreensaveRz and PowerSleevz are both made from Optex material, a thin, super-soft, microfiber that doubles as an optical-grade polishing cloth. The stuff works like a charm and removes many minor marks and scuffs effortlessly."

"The PowerSleevz, is a form fitting PowerBook sleeve case that is made out of the same material as the ScreensavRz, boosting the same quality in a thicker format. It's purpose is to protect your PowerBook from the rest of the world, and of course it look classy and the camel hair like color is superb. Great to prevent scratches from zippers. You can even machine or hand wash this protective case, so it will remain for a long time as clean as the TieBook it protects. Superb!"

"Enter RadTech's $20 PodSleevz for
Apple's newer-generation iPods. Based on RadTech's excellent PowerSleevz for
PowerBooks and iBooks, PodSleevz are thin (less than 1mm thick) microfiber
covers that fit your iPod like a glove. Their material, which RadTech calls
Optex, is tough enough to withstand tearing and scuffing, but soft enough that
you can use a PodSleevz case as a polishing cloth for your iPod or your
PowerBook screen. And with a little wiggling, you can fit your
PodSleevz-wrapped iPod in Apple's iPod belt case.
Many cases force you to remove your iPod to use it, but your iPod remains fully functional while inside a PodSleevz case. A clear plastic window lets you view the screen, a slot on the bottom provides room to connect the dock cable, and embossed areas on the PodSleevz case's face correspond to the controls on your iPod -- the material is thin enough that the touch-sensitive controls still work. In addition, one unintended -- but welcome -- consequence of using a PodSleevz case is that it ever so slightly desensitizes the iPod's touch-sensitive controls. When you accidentally brush against a button, your iPod no longer skips songs or stops playback -- a maddeningly frequent occurrence in my experience." |

"Unlike those pouches, PodSleevz use transparent vinyl to provide access to iPods' screens, and cover their controls with a thin, interference-free fabric surface. The screen and button carveouts in RadTech's design contribute to the product's respectable, professional appearance. We especially liked that the iPod's buttons, though covered, still responded perfectly to our button and scroll wheel actions slightly better than they do in fully protective rubber cases."

"My favorite iPod accessory of
late is the PodSleevz from RadTech. PodSleevz are thin and light iPod covers
made of soft optical-grade Optex microfiber material (the same stuff in their
Laptop ScreensavRz)... ...PodSleevz cover the iPod buttons and scroll-wheel providing just enough buffer between you and the buttons, making them much easier to operate because they are a little less sensitive. In fact, iPod 3G buttons operate decidedly better with the PodSleevz attached. Whether you're looking for a nice protective sleeve for your iPod or if you are annoyed with the hyper-sensitive iPod 3G buttons, PodSleevz are for you." |

"We really like how the case allows the use of peripherals, such as iTrips, iTalks, and the Belkin Voice Recorder, since the top is open. There is also a slot of the bottom where you can cut out to reveal the dock connector (if you use the cable), or you can leave it on. We also like how the case is nice and slim - although it won't protect from drops, it will protect from scratches. This is great if your iPod lives in your pocket. Did we mention it is one of the cheapest cases we've reviewed?"

"I am quite impressed with these. They match my iBook perfectly and don't look out of place. The company that makes them was also very helpful and responded to inqueries in a timely manner. If you have a recent Apple portable that needs more support, or are missing the bumpers, you should look into these."

"Wildeepz are in itself one of the best idea that have came to the TieBook world this year. This is a smart display cushions replacement system. Our original cushions have melted on our TieBook 15"2 jeopardizing the correct alignment and closing ratio of our Powerbook."

"On those rare occasions when my display is dirtier than usual, I turn to RadTech's OmniCleanz Screen Cleaner spray, a molecular release agent and pre-coating cleaner for high-end optical applications where critical 1-micron or finer cleaning is essential.
I'm not sure what all that means, but I do know it's the best display-cleaning juice I've ever used. It removes dirt and scuff marks better than other products." |

"Ive gone through several laptop bags, ranging for the full-size laptop bag-briefcase combination to smaller bags with a handle, but I have never been happier than just having a single bag with everything in it when traveling. The STM Glove finally lets me do this without the hassle of folding the handles and straps, while still retaining the protection many other bags do not achieve, even at twice the size."

"In an all black case, your all white, or all silver Mac is going to look perfect! The Glove is a perfect match for your PowerBook and iBook. It has a decent layer for protection, even though that is not the main function of the case. This case is all about style, and portability. The Glove makes your PowerBook even easier to carry around, and looks very, very stylish."

"Its solid design keeps the iPod always protected, while still very easy to access all of the controls, and get everything out of the iPod that you normally do. There are several key components to a unique case such as this, and StandardTM (STM for short) has done a great job incorporating them into the final product."
